How to create catchy slogans with minimum effort

Catchy slogans are usually short sentences that are used to emphasize the quality of business products and to create demand within customers. The more catchy slogans words, the more successful the campaign

There are two types of business slogan.

  1. Institutional slogan: These are slogans used for specific business campaigns. They usually aim at creating a positive image of the organization when targeting customers.
  2. Hard-sell slogan: This includes advertising slogans, which are used to generate demand for products, driving up sales as a consequence. The context usually describes the benefits or characteristics of the product.

Writing a business slogan is different from any other type of writing. The slogans should always focus on a specific campaign or product, and the wording and writing style must be catchy in order to target customers.

The elements of good slogans:

  1. Short but precise,
  2. Use proper words and vocabulary,
  3. Have content,
  4. Are easy to read,
  5. Have a product/service name that’s easy to remember.

The copywriter should also be aware of the psychological influence the slogan has on its target customers – and this is the key to success of when it comes to creating a catchy slogan.
